Go traveling on weekdays
I can tell you that going on vacation on the weekdays can really help you to enjoy things that a weekend wouldn’t. Overcrowded beaches suck, and I found that out to be true this past weekend on my visit to the south.
We went to the beach on Tuesday and it was great. Nobody was there, but thats what made it so great. If you can, always go on a weekday.
